Victor Geovanni Cebrero Gómez (Mexico)
Victor studied graphic design, commercial illustration, and visual arts in Los Angeles, USA. His first experience with serigraphy was in the design studio "M&M Productions" in Highland Park, CA. He currently lives and works as a graphic designer in Vienna.
In Austria he partook in the exhibition "exitus — tod alltäglich" at the renowned museum Künstlerhaus in Vienna, in which he did reproductions and new interpretations of José Guadalupe Posada's illustrations in the year 2007. Since then he has been asked by the Mexican Embassy in Vienna to participate in the design and set-up of their "Día de los Muertos" altars at the Center for Iberian and Latin American Studies, as well as at the Comenius-University in Bratislava, Slovakia and other cultural centers. Since 2007 he has been working together with Esteban Clavijo on a new interpretation of Pre-Columbian designs.
Esteban Clavijo (Ecuador)
Born in Ecuador, of American and Ecuadorian Citizenship, has lived in Vienna since 2005.
Esteban grew up in Ecuador's capital Quito, and already as a small child he enjoyed very much observing his aunt work on different types of handy-crafts as well as art. At that age one of his favorite games was experimenting with colors, especially with crayons and color pencils. This talent however was forgotten through the years and replaced with music and poetry. His long time friend, whom he met during high-school in Los Angeles, was the one that managed to awake this sleeping potential again. Since 2007 with a trial-and-error method, Esteban plays and experiments with colors, just like the kid he once was and still is.
